Stress Echocardiography

Stress Echocardiography

Stress echocardiography tests the functioning of the left atrium during physical exertion. This test is used mainly to detect circulatory problems in the heart muscle with greater accuracy than the exercise stress test. Stress echocardiography is also suitable for assessing how a previously identified narrowing of the coronary arteries will progress, and for determining the severity of heart valve disorders.
